  Corporate Partnership Information

General Information

The Western Association of College and University Housing Officers (WACUHO) invites you to become a WACUHO Corporate Partner.

Your involvement as a WACUHO Corporate Partner can give your company valuable exposure and connection with WACUHO's eighty-five college and university institutional members and nine hundred WACUHO individual members.

The Western Association of College and University Housing Officers (WACUHO) is an incorporated, nonprofit, volunteer organization, democratic in nature. Our college and university professional members work in the areas of housing, residential life, facilities, dining services, conference services and maintenance services.

Companies have expressed that becoming a WACUHO Corporate Partner has greatly benefited them. Depending on which of the three levels of membership you join, your company can receive a WACUHO Directory (listing over 900 individual members), the official WACUHO Newsletter (distributed four times a year), and your company logo printed on a variety of memorabilia items and program booklets. Some of the programs, conferences and events our Association sponsors each year include:

Northern, Central, Southern and Island RAP: A one-day drive-in workshop conference for students working in housing and residential life at our member institutions. An average of 500 students attend each of the RAPs.

Western Training Institute (WTI): A three-day institute held annually in January addressing the personal and professional needs of the members of our Association. Approximately 50 members of our Association attend this institute.

Pacific Management Institute (PMI): A three-day institute held in October addressing the needs of mid to upper-level managers of our Association. Approximately 50 housing professionals attend this institute.

Conference Connection: A one-day, drive-in conference providing the opportunity for those professionals working in the area of conference services to network and share ideas.

WACUHO Annual Conference: Over 350 members and 100 exhibitors attend our annual conference to attend professional development workshops and discover new products and services in the exhibits area.

Additional Membership Information

Membership payment must be received by December 1, 2007 to receive all of the benefits of the 2008 Corporate Partnership. Please review the following information before renewing or ordering your corporate partnership benefits:
If joining at the Silver or Gold Level, camera-ready logo must be received by December 15, 2007 to receive Silver and Gold Level benefits.
The Corporate Relations Committee of the WACUHO Association will determine which logo will appear on various conference memorabilia items.
Membership dues will not be prorated at any time during the calendar year.
Corporate membership lasts for one calendar year, January 1, to December 31.
Corporate Partnership will allow you to be active in the WACUHO Association while consolidating and streamlining the sponsorship process. Nearly 900 professional housing staff will know that you are supporting our programs, events and professional scholarships.

Becoming a Corporate Partner does not affect your interactions with individual schools and sponsorships. The 2006 Silver and Gold Level Corporate Members have indicated that joining at the Silver or Gold levels has been the most beneficial to their company.
