ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS HOUSING

Saint Mary's College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Director of Campus Housing in the division of Student Life. Reporting to the Director of Campus Housing & Conference Services, the Assistant Director of Campus Housing will provide leadership and direction for the operational aspects of the residential life/housing program. In a collaborative spirit with other members of the student life division, the Assistant Director provides for and supports a residential life program that fosters learning, accountability and community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree in higher education administration, college student personnel administration, or related field, highly desirable or combination of equivalent relevant experience preferred

• experience in housing operations and facilities in residence life in higher education or similar settings preferred

• excellent oral and written communication skills

• computer literacy and experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, data analysis and Colleague

• demonstrated ability to set priorities, juggle competing priorities and accomplish tasks effectively

• must interact frequently with students about the campus, regular presence at campus programs and activities required

• weekend and evening work required
