The Evergreen State College is seeking applicants for four positions in Residential and Dining Services. Evergreen is a progressive, public liberal arts and sciences college located in Olympia, Washington, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Assistant Director for Residential Life

The Assistant Director for Residential Life is responsible for facilitating the creation of a safe and secure residential community supporting the learning mission of Evergreen and enhancing approximately 1000 residents’ academic and personal development. This position is responsible for crisis management, the supervision of four full-time professional Resident Directors in the coordination of their job responsibilities, policy development and implementation, and the room assignment and management process. This position coordinates the student conduct program in Residential and Dining Services educating students regarding expectations and policies.

Assistant Director for Operations

The Assistant Director for Operations is responsible for the daily administrative and dining service operations of the residential program consisting of 1000 resident students. This includes fiscal oversight for this self-supporting auxiliary, information technology, and marketing. The Assistant Director assists in the administration of the dining service contract.

Resident Director (2 vacancies)

The Resident Director (RD) is a live-in professional who facilitates, creates, maintains and promotes a safe and secure residential community supporting the mission of Evergreen and enhancing residents' academic and personal development. The RD supervises Resident Assistants (RAs), coordinates their job responsibilities, oversees programming, conduct, and has budgetary responsibility dependent on the size of the RA staff assigned. When on-call, this position is responsible for the entire residential system and serves as the emergency responder, directing all on-call/support student staff for a resident population of approximately 1000.
