RESIDENT DIRECTOR
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
A
full time, live-in position responsible for the management of traditional
residence hall with approximately 300 undergraduate students.
Resident Director
will:
A Bachelors
Degree is required and a Masters Degree in College Student Development or
related field is STRONGLY preferred;
previous residence life experience is also strongly preferred as well as
experience with Living/Learning communities. Leading candidates will have knowledge
of and commitment to diversity education, understanding of student development theory
and practice, and the ability to handle student concerns and crises in a calm
and professional manner. Other important characteristics include;
personal integrity, excellent oral and written communication skills,
creativity, strong administrative skills, the capacity to function well
autonomously, plus the ability to work effectively with the many constituencies
in a small university environment.

Salary
commensurate with experience. Furnished apartment
and meal plan provided.
