Resident Life Coordinator
The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles, located in Santa Monica, currently has an opening for a housing professional to coordinate housing activities. This full-time position serves to assist housing management in providing quality off-campus housing and maintaining a safe and healthy living-learning environment for students.
Responsibilities include administrative functions related to housing assignments, records, and reports; student resident advisor selection, training, and supervision; coordinating social and wellness-related programming; liaison relationships with apartment complex management staff; adjudication and tracking of student conduct and mediation issues; coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors to ensure timely completion; on-call duties for responding to emergency and crisis situations; serving as a resource for students and staff.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in housing administration and supervision in a college or university setting. Must have experience working with a diverse student body. Bachelors degree required, masters degree in student affairs, counseling, or related field preferred.
