PURPOSE:
To provide leadership in the planning and implementation of a specific management development and consciousness-raising program for middle and upper management level members. PMI challenges its participants and provides them with personal and professional insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Share with the committee that they must participate in off-site meetings as determined by Chair(s)

  • Responsible for the total coordination and implementation of the multi-day conference including theme, goals and objectives, speaker(s) and optional Scholar-in-Residence

  • Establish a zero-based budget by the post-conference Executive Committee Meeting

  • Coordinate all registration process, meeting rooms, advertisement, food and beverage arrangements, sleeping accommodations, audio/visual arrangements, etc.

  • Work closely with the Associations Treasurer and the Executive Committee Liaison in all aspects of planning and implementation

  • Submit brief abstract in January to the Program Committee Chairs for inclusion in the program notebook

  • Prepare and submit an annual report to the Vice President by May 1st which summarizes the committee's activity during the year.
