1. Why are you interested in the WAVES Marketing and Communications Coordinator

position?

2. What past involvement have you had with producing a newsletter?

3. What do you foresee as potential challenges in the “long distance” newsletter production

process (more specifically, the process of soliciting and collecting articles, photos, etc.

from approximately 1000 members in 4 different states)? What strategies do you

anticipate using to address these issues?

4. WACUHO has increasingly relied on the use of technology as an avenue to distribute the

WAVES and other pertinent information. What experience do you have with software

programs, e.g. Publisher, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc. Which do you feel you\’ll be

using in the newsletter production and why?

5. Do you have institutional support to serve in this capacity for the next two years?

6. Please share any additional comments or information pertinent to your experience,

interest and/or concerns in applying to the WAVES Marketing and Communications

Coordinator position.

Please answer the following questions:

  1. Why are you interested in the Technology Coordinator position?

    2. WACUHO has increasingly relied on the use of technology as an avenue to engage with members.

    What past involvement have you had with producing and managing websites and other forms of

    online media

    3. The Technology Coordinator serves as a liaison between technical consultants and the Association.

    While a computer programming background is not necessary, the Coordinator will need to be

    adaptable in learning new software systems. Please describe your comfort level with learning new

    systems, and share with us software/systems you have used recently that are probably not utilized by

    the majority of our membership, and how you used those systems.

    4. What do you see as pressing technology issues for the Association?

    5. How can our information and technology systems be used to better enhance the organization?

    6. Please share any additional comments or information pertinent to your experience, interest and/or

    concerns in applying to the Technology and Information Systems Coordinator position?

Women of WACUHO: Year In Review

We cannot believe we are close to the end of the academic year and as we reflect on the many accomplishments from the past year, we are incredibly thankful for all the hard work each and every WoW committee member has offered so generously. The following are a few highlights from this past year:

* Fantastic WoW Newsletters which keep us informed and highlight phenomenal women in the region
